The connectors on the D-Box are contoured to match the URSA Mini s ensuring all cables can be installed without any collisions.This professional-grade battery plate communicates with the camera allowing any ARRI standard start/stop trigger to be used with the 3pin Fischer port. The DC input on the D-Box is a Mini 4pin XLR and the kit also includes a pigtail cable that converts to a full-size 4 pin XLR providing the option to connect an AC Power Supply or External Power Plate. This feature enables you to power accessories and the camera during a battery change.When both battery and DC input are utilized the D-Box defaults to the DC input leaving the battery fully charged. It s important to understand the power capabilities of your batteries when using D-Box battery modules. Most high-end cinema batteries can supply up to 10A with the URSA Mini camera generally consuming 3-4A in standard configuration. Although the remaining power is available from the D-Taps LEMO compatible connectors Fischers etc. it is recommended to limit the power draw to 5A or less for optimal results. Exceeding a battery s power capabilities can cause the battery to shut off interrupting the camera and accessory power.
